I made it!!! 😭 my first night at the hospital was a complete nightmare. I had to fast 8 hours before the operation including no water, the 11 hour surgery itself went amazingly though! it felt like 5 minutes to me.
I woke up VERY nauseous, they were still performing the final procedure (hair transplant) on me while i was awake but felt no pain.
As soon as I got to my room at around 8pm I vomited a lot straight away.. this is normal, I won’t go into further detail. My nostrils were casted up so I could only breathe from my mouth, i was still not allowed water since the morning after at 7am!! dehydrated was an under statement, I was even dreaming about drinking water! no joke. Waking up every hour praying for the time to get closer and finally have water.
Today is a lot better! no more nausea, just plenty of rest, and on a lot of pain killers.
I can finally breathe through my nose so sleep will be better tonight. This is my last night at the hospital, I can’t wait to go home 😭 this has been so overwhelming, my head feels like it’s going to explode.
