Life has been really stressful for me the last few months, and it’s really not getting any better. I am trying to get back into posting regularly again, along with catching up on messages and customs. On top of my depression, I’ve been dealing with a lot of pain from my arthritis, I need to move soon and I’m having a really hard time finding a place, and my dad has not being doing well.
My mother recovered from her liver cancer surgery and is far doing okay (she’s due to get a scan and check up before Christmas), but my dad is going the opposite. He’s been in full time care for a couple of years, and he’s recently been switched to palliative care. He’s had a few falls lately and is back in hospital today, and while it might be his regular benign issues causing it (he’s 81 and has a bunch of health issues) the doctor have been talking about end of life options. He’s having a hard time talking right now, but we know where he stands on things.
I am trying to fight through the depression, pain, and stress, but it’s really hard some days. I do have content I’m planning on making, and I have been talking about making some content with a few people, though I don’t know when we can line that up. I do have someone interested in me doing C B T on him, which is a new area for my to dive into, but I think it will be a lot of fun.
I am so, so grateful for all of you, especially those who’ve stuck by me through this. I wanted to let you know where I’m at and why I’ve been so quiet on here, and that I will be trying to do better. 😘
