Heyyy, I want to share that I tried something new again!
I tried yoga nidra with singing bowls! 🧘♀️ Honestly, classic yoga just isn’t my thing ._. I can’t seem to relax! I tried hatha yoga too… I already adooore bagels, but twisting myself into one wasn’t exactly my vibe, hahaha! 😄😄 But, yoga nidra? Ooooh, it really works wonders :3 This was my 4th time in 2 years, and I totally looooved it! ^^ It really helps my body relax so much 💆♀️ I read somewhere that 30 minutes of nidra = 2 hours of good sleep. I’m not sure if that’s true, but I definitely feel super relaxed after!
And this time, the session had the sound of singing bowls - honestly, it’s sooo soothing. The sound helps keep you in a conscious state, so you don’t just fall asleep 😂 Some people, especially the guys, were out in seconds, and it was honestly kind of cuuute 😊 But for good practice, you need to stay semi-conscious, so I focused on really listening to my body and not dozing off
I really enjoyed hoooow the music surrounded me, and it wasn’t coming from just one source! The trainer moved between us, playing the bowls, and it was suuuper calming 🥣✨ We also had this magical lamp with colorful lights that created such a dreamy vibe 🤩
And since it’s not my first time with nidra and I freeze sooo easily 🥶🥶🥶 I brought my thick socks, my coziest hoodie, and the warmest pants. I KNEW I’D FREEZE, AHAHAH! 😂
In short, if there’s another session (it’s very rare), I absolutely wouldn’t miss it! - Oh, and this month I’m super excited to try squash! 🏸 I’ll let you know how it goes afterward for sure! 🤗
