Dear Diary,
It's day one for me in La Ciudad de Mexico! What a beautiful and vibrant city. I can hear salsa music outside of my window as I type these words, and although the day was overcast I did enjoy some moments of beautiful colored light under the plastic film of the papel picados in the mercado.
I started my day with a cortadito, as is mandatory for my brain. Without that caffein boost, I'm not worth much! I had some dried fruit for breakfast (such is the life of a professional bottom), and then had my first collab here! He was really sexy and incredibly sweet, with an artist's soul. The video is a perfect distillation of our instant chemistry, and I'm sure y'all will love it.
After filming, we went on a long walk together and took some photos around the barrio. There was a park filled with older people dancing together and enjoying being alive. To me, this is always so refreshing—to see elderly people being active in public. In the USA, unfortunately, elderly people are often shut away and the society in general values the non-old way more than the old. To see them dancing and smiling and embracing gave me a lot of happiness.
We eventually split ways and I went to the Mercado de Artesanías La Ciudadela, which is a huge market for mostly handmade or handmade-inspired things haha. It was super cute to see families out together, buying piñatas and sipping cafecitos. I felt a bit blue that I'm here alone, but I am usually able to make friends quickly when I travel.
I'm going to get a yummy dinner tonight and figure out what gym to get to tomorrow. Stay tuned everyone! I'm going to make little diary entries everyday of my trip here. It makes me feel even more connected to you.
