More onsen escapades coming at you! ♨️💦 During my 2 months in Japan, I’ve been absolutely *indulging* in their incredible bathhouses, and other related therapies such as massage. They take cleansing the body very seriously, and prioritize this method of health and wellbeing all over the country. It doesn’t matter where you are in Japan, whether in the big cities or the countryside, you’re always going to find a top tier bathhouse to reset yourself in. 🫠 The other day I went to one that had SEVEN different types of pools. They had a milky magnesium bath, a bubbling jet bath, a cold bath, a bath filled with *spices* like ginger and peppers, and many more. They also had several types of saunas, aromatherapy rooms, and steam rooms with salt scrubs. My skin has never been more pampered. 😍 I got the BEST fucking Thai massage of my life last night. She folded me up and manipulated my body in ways I didn’t know were possible. I am one happy baby right now. I’m going to miss this aspect of life whenever I leave Japan. And these experiences are all soooo affordable. My massage was only $30. That bathhouse cost an entry fee of $13. I’m totally spoiled by this lifestyle. 🤯 They are all segregated too, so the women are totally free to walk around in the nude without concern. However, that means that phones and are not allowed most of the time. This particular day however… hehe me and Steph were the only ones here. The temptation was too high. 🤗 Enjoy this RARE onsen footage. 🤫 Find yourself a little slice of therapy this weekend. Go to your community jacuzzi for soak, and ask a friend for a back rub.
