I offer you my voice. Out of all of the videos I’ve posted here, this is the one that I am most proud of. I’m a sentimental guy, and I’m getting a little choked up writing this. You’ve all been a support to me that has allowed me to make a life change, leaving academia and perusing my opera career full time. I’m writing this currently in the middle of an amazing production on the east coast that has really lit a fire in me to pursue the utmost excellence in my singing and performing. Many of you might know, but I’ve been working as a professional singer for the last 25 years and my career has extended internationally. Academia was important for me and it allowed me to maintain a presence in performing but after ten years I had to make the change and let my wings grow. So I started this site, then resigned, and then started getting some high end studio works i took a huge risk in opening this site and doing the studio porn. Don’t get me wrong, there is an exhibitionist side of me that really found release in this outlet, and it provided a way for me to reach my goals. But also I’m afraid it has hindered me from really reaching for my true goals. Also, I have felt several collisions of both my professional porn and opera worlds that have turned out to cost me work as a singer. I knew this was a risk, but I am also so fortunate to still be finding work with companies that don’t care that I do porn, or still haven’t found out. This has been a huge blessing. But it is come to pass that I don’t know how much longer I’m going to be doing this. I have already withdrawn from studio porn for the foreseeable future, but I have lots in the archives to keep the site going for a while as I transition out. I just want you to see, what you tips and subscriptions have done for me in getting me closer to my dreams. And I am eternally grateful. And now you can see just how overly sentimental I am 😭
Here is a little raw (and early) rehearsal footage of a Rossini aria from Otello for some work I did with an opera company. I’m moving more into bel canto repertoire after building a career in oratorio and early music and baroque opera. I’m moving into bigger repertoire as my voice matures and grows in size. It’s incredibly exciting and I’m really looking forward to see where this career goes! As of now I’m booking things into 2026, which is good, I just need to fill each year with a few excellent and good paying productions to be happy and fulfilled in my quest as a singer.
