One of the biggest turning points in my life was moving to the US. At first, it was really scary — new language, new people, new culture. I missed my family and friends back in Ukraine so much. But I also felt this fire inside me, like I finally had a chance to follow my dreams. I started going to castings, even though I was super nervous every time. Sometimes I didn’t get picked, but I never gave up. I told myself: “Every ‘no’ just means I’m closer to a ‘yes.’” Looking back, I’m proud of that brave girl who packed her bags and decided to start a new life.
