I come home exhausted after a long day at the office. I slip out of my high heels and walk barefoot down the hallway. My footsteps echo in the silence of the apartment.
I enter my room and stand in front of the mirror. The reflection gives me back a tired but determined look. Without haste, I undo the button of my blouse and feel the tension of the day begin to fade. The fabric falls softly to the floor, followed by the skirt sliding down my hips.
I pause for a moment, observing my figure in the mirror. It is an intimate, almost sacred ritual. The bra and stockings are the next garments to leave my body. I take a deep breath, feeling the freedom of my skin in contact with the fresh air.
I look at my reflection once again, completely naked, and smile. This is the moment when I stop being the impeccable executive and reconnect with myself.
