Life update:
I hope everyone’s doing good. I got a new 1hr old husky mix rescue and he’s PUTTING ME THROUGH IT rn. I love active dogs and I love training them but integrating a new dog into your home where there’s already another dog is always difficult for a while. My 6yr old aussie mix is getting so annoyed at how much he wants to play but I figured out how to put him to sleep by rubbing his stomach he’ll knock out in 5 minutes. He’s getting hours of exercise every day and still wants to go go go unless I put him to sleep it’s actually pretty cute. He also can’t have a wire crate because he’s terrified of the noise when it rattles and I’ve been waiting for his heavy duty thick bar crate to come in so not being able to crate him has been a pain. I haven’t had time to myself in 3 days because I’ve been watching him 24/7. Overall everything’s going good and he’s such a good boy. His foster parents did such a good job with him I couldn’t feel more lucky to have found him. Once he gets more used to our routine and gets some more training he’ll be such a good boy🤍 he’s insanely smart but also stubborn and independent as most huskies are 😋 but that’s my life update! I don’t usually do these but I felt like ranting c:
