It was supposed to be a casual dinner—nothing fancy. We met at a new restaurant in town, and everything was going smoothly: the wine was flowing, the conversation was easy, and the chemistry was undeniable.
But then, as we were finishing our meal, he leaned in with that mischievous grin, “I bet you can’t resist this dessert,” he said, teasing.
Of course, I couldn’t back down from a challenge. The waiter brought over a plate with a chocolate fondue fountain. He dipped a strawberry and held it up to my lips, but before I could take a bite, he pulled it away with a wink. "Not so fast," he teased. “You have to earn it.” 😏
