Guilt: a pretty intense stalker

From my human side, I will share this today. I’ve been carrying a lot of guilt and some t0etur ing thoughts toward myself for mistakes I made in my past relationship.

I think feeling guilt is something very human, it shows that we care about the other person. It doesn’t mean you’re a bad person. From the day you were born until the day you leave this world, you’re going to make 10,000 mistakes. And the thoughts we have toward ourselves can be very powerful.

We're human, and I believe mistakes are a big part of shaping who we become. We can use them to learn.

I believe what’s important is to talk about it. Not keep it bottled up. With someone else, or even just with yourself. A moment of silence staring at the ceiling. Writing it down on paper. Whatever feels easiest. Processing it is already a step closer to learning.

I don’t know if I have a super motivating piece of advice because I’m going through this too. Maybe this post is more like, “You’re not alone. I also have uncomfortable feelings, and my worst critic is myself. We’re in this together.”

I think sometimes we need to congratulate ourselves for the courage it takes to face uncomfortable emotions and thoughts. Nothing lasts forever. Thank you for reading me 🩷
