UPDATE 1 of 2: It's Sober October and I got a new apartment.

Hey ya'll. I've been a little out of it lately. Some of you know why if you've been around for a minute but maybe this is news to some of you newbies. I'll save the personal stuff and for the next update.

For right now though let's talk goals: it's Sober October and we're hitting the gym.

I'll be the first to admit I probably drink too much. I came of age in the early 2000s and was raised on toxic masculinity and abusive drinking normalization. Beer pong and American Pie. All things considered, I'm pretty happy I turned out to be a decent person. So no booze for the next month. I'll be indulging in some THC drinks but that's it.

As for other goals I was supposed to run a half marathon next weekend and was on a great pace this summer until some personal stuff pulled me down and I lost track of it. I did do one training run at 13 miles though so I feel alright with it though. That said, I've gotten more sedentary than I like. Not unfit or unhealthy, but I don't feel good. So I'm hitting the gym hard! Cardio/weights five days a week. Cum with me on my journey.
