I’m not perfect, this is true.
I’m not perfect and neither are you
We both have secrets that we keep
Some on the surface, others more deep
I’ll keep yours safe even if you don’t tell me
Bury them under the lies you try to sell me
The story isn’t really the point after all is it?
Just an image in the minds eye of the ones who have to hear it.
Love through the process, the secrets, the pain.
It brings me sadness that secrets can be so filled with shame.
We’re all human, imperfect, some loud and some plain.
Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t all be kind and love one another just the same. 🍂🍃🍁
