I was reminded by my phone that 5 years ago I was naked in Austrailia solo traveling and backpacking, then made my way to New Zealand and spent a week on a boat with my girlfriend and a one legged pirate. Amazing times. (I may get flack for this) but though this particular memory of me with the kangaroos in Australia was amazing, I preferred New Zealand’s nature. People in both places were friendly to me, I connected with and went to amazing places I wouldn’t have ever experienced if it wasn’t for those I chatted and spent time with while there. I’m overdue for out of the country travel!!
