Last stop - Nineveh
Dinner & Dessert were BEYOND delicious! This is a Syrian / Middle Eastern place and it’s quickly becoming my FAVE Oly haunt. Service is impeccable. The food is STUNNING and unlike anything I’ve had anywhere. Soooo many Amazing flavors, spices, etc.
This meal was Entirely vegetarian 🌱 They have Many meat options but Dave opted to split everything with me so we stuck to veggies.
We started with the spiced fingerling potatoes & whipped feta, and a side of dolmas. The Cauliflower steak on smoked carrot puree topped with micro greens and a side of pickled veg was so good we Both wanted to lick the plate!
Then for dessert we had their creamy tahini pie which I had no idea if we’d like - but we figured everything else was exceptional so why not try. Now we’re addicted 😂 Don’t even know how to describe it but a really creamy, subtle peanut buttery taste. They sprinkle chopped pistachio & rose petals and it’s just outta this world.
I also decided to try the ‘Arak’ which is the traditional after dinner drink. We ate in the bar (which I Definitely prefer … quieter homier Vibe & Leroy the bartender is THE BEST) So he brought out my lil tray and told me how to serve it.
