Hi castlovers 💙, today feels like the beginning of my second week with my SLC. I’ve been slowing down a lot lately, giving myself time to rest and adjust to life in a cast.

Honestly, it’s not always easy… this hard cast keeps my ankle completely still 🦴, I can’t put my foot down, and moving around on crutches 🩼 makes every little thing a challenge. Even simple tasks sometimes require someone’s help 🤲.

But I’m learning to be patient with myself. These days may be hard, but I know I’m healing, and that’s what truly matters 💪✨.
