So I was chatting to @sarinasong about the struggles of dating as a SWer. And we both came to the conclusion that revealing you're a SWer can often make your relationship go south. We both experience this thing where you reveal you're a SWer (super early in the relationship) and guys/girls either:
- focus the conversation only on your job
- ask weird questions they wouldn't ask anybody else (like how much do you earn, etc)
- get super insecure and jealous, etc
We both agreed we like people who don't focus too much attention or care too much about our jobs. But the most whacko part is that we also came to the conclusion that if a guy doesn't care about your job, he also probably doesn't care about you. I mean I think it's normal to care a little bit right? if a guy was like yea whatever cool bro, it would be a big red flag for me as well LOL.
Talk about paradoxes and shit.???
