I have a friend called "L." We met at one of my previous jobs when I was working in investor relations and he was the new head of operations. Anyway, I thought he hated me at first because he always sounded angry whenever he spoke but turns out, that's just how some Chinese-Singaporean dudes are. Anyway, we got really close after and have been talking almost every day since we met!
We ended up both leaving that company to work together in a new company. Despite my lack of experience, he vetted me and took me under his wing. I remember spazzing to him on WhatsApp being like omg L should I tell them Im also a SWer and OnlyFans chick on the side?? Since I was in a face-out role in the company, I was scared I would be failing due diligence. He was the first person that pushed me in a professional environment, to never feel like I have to 'admit' to something like it's something to be ashamed of. :) His words: "Come on Perry, it's 2022." <3
