in between the stacks at the library (my usual hideout haha) I stumbled upon something unexpected the cute new library volunteer (alex) was staring at me with a smile. because we were both looking for sci-fi novels at some point we started chatting about books and I swear my heart was doing somersaults the whole time. there was this vibe you know? like maybe, just maybe, i will ask him for his number next time 🤭 do you think I will dare?
