ahh, goth gf santa. could the thumbnails be any more aggressively framed, jesus.
this is something i wanted to try last year, but simply didn't get the time for it. i barely had the time for it this year as well, but committed to it for the only 6 hours that i thought i would have for it and it taught me some much unwanted, but needed lessons and realizations. photos are unedited.
number 1: the boobs are too big. they don't fit my frame at all, they're 32 or 36D, i forget which, but either way, they're just not proportional. obviously they're fake, but with the way the corset is, it makes them seem way more fake/aggressive than usual. the corset that i got for this did not really fit, it kept slipping off because it wasn't able to get tight enough and fill the shape of my body. not to mention that the silicone has gotten stained a little bit from when i did goth gf 2.0, so it just might be time to get a new, smaller chest piece.
number 2: i need hip pads to cosplay. i am not shapely enough to pull stuff like this off, i am literally a 2x4 plank of wood in terms of body shape. when i use hip pads, i at least get a LITTLE bit of definition, but with no pads, i need to contort myself to give the illusion that i have any sort of curves on my body. that's why i stand weird or sit down in some pictures and that's why the lighting is terrible, to mask the fact that i am literally 3 different colors. i am not really interested in any sort of similar silicone stuff for my hips because it's just more stuff i need to worry about covering up and skin tones that i need to worry about masking. so, expect less of this going into the future because i don't think i'll ever get it to a point where it looks as good as i want it to.
number 3: i didn't end up needing a garter belt, but garter belts are stupid and suspenders have a way better attachment mechanism.
for the first time ever, i did all of the makeup myself, so that was good. i think i did alright, but i don't really have any closeups of it. my eyeshadow game is still pretty weak though, only practice is going to fix that.
wigs... i tried em, but i still think using my actual hair turns out way better every time. there is something about a wig that brings out my goddamn chin. it'll always be an issue in my eyes, no matter how much i contour my chin. and the wig just brings it front and center, whereas my regular hair doesn't. even with the hat on, i still like my hair more.
ultimately, i think this came together as best as it could given the circumstances of poorly fitting corset and unshapely body. but, it's safe to say i won't be doing any lingerie based anything in the short or long term. and yeah, i tried out just a bra/lingerie and it's not pretty. overall, 6/10, won't be trying again. i do have even more lewd pictures, but idk if i'm the most comfortable uploading them atm, idk, think it's weird.
probably nothing for a while, need to get new costumes made up. really hoping convention season boots back up soon. i'm gonna start working out again, maybe that'll help too. i want lulu from ffx to be my next thing, but that'll be a while.
