sup idiots, i'm a fuckin bunny again.
wanted to try the bunny outfit again compared to last time as i thought it looked ok, but not great and that i could definitely do better. did not like the blue hair, and it was obvious my chestpiece was too big.
i had a special jacket made so that way i could actually stand up and move around without people being able to see the chestpiece, that ended up working out really nicely as wearing the sleeves AND chestpiece is annoying as shit. the bunny outfit was the same, but it stained the FUCK out of my chestpiece because it was a piece of garbage from amazon, which i don't think is salvageable at all, i might have to buy a new one, which sucks, but it's not unusable. i actually got a smaller chestpiece for this one, but i still think it might be too big, idk. didn't feel like it was smaller, but i know it was because i didn't need to use straps, this mf stayed on all night.
jacket ended up being a smidge too tight, all my fault though as i didn't give the person who made it the proper measurements, went a little bit too tight, button broke off, had to get it replaced, but that's fine.
holy SHIT the makeup though. my friend spencer offered to do my makeup for me and while i definitely want to learn how to do it myself (beyond the one look that i do, which is just "put purple on my face"), if someone offers to do it for me, i'm gonna accept. spencer used to be a professional makeup artist (and just has a lot of artistic talent in general as a hobby painter) so i was like hell yeah. and what a fucking difference that shit made dude. this is prob the best i've ever felt not in a cosplay. it was such a difference maker and i was so stoked at how it came out, blown away, truly. barely used any contour on the sides of my face, although used a lot on my nose when i typically don't do a ton.
i wasn't sold on the wig as i tend to like having a lot of volume and most crappy wigs lay pretty flat on people's heads, but i think it still worked out. definitely would like to get something with a bit more volume though. or figure out what to do with my own hair. i did like how my own hair looked before i put the wig on, but maybe i just like how some makeup looks on my face as a dude, idk.
workouts look like they're working. for all the goddamn squats we do, i'd hope so.
i haven't really gotten to do a ton of stuff this year, travel season booted back up, didn't get a new cosplay made because i wanted to wear some shit that i haven't been wearing and just have generally been busy. also, i usually do this shit when we play destiny 1 raids on stream, but no one has wanted to do that lately, think people are just tired of it, so we're gonna have to figure out other times. people also get weirded out, which is understandable as this is not a normal thing to be doing, so i don't really wanna push the issue too much. when it's halloween, yeah, sure, it's a costume. when it's NOT, that's when people are like "uhhh," even more.
so yeah, very successful thanks to spencer and some costume adjustments. mainly spencer. we'll figure some new stuff out for the future. think that's everything, i'll edit later if there's anything else i missed.
