I have sleep paralysis quite often. For those that don’t, it’s a form of nightmare that occurs when you’re between sleep and awake. You’re aware of the room as it actually is, unable to move and are aware of the presence of an ominous figure in the room, usually just out of “eye sight”. It’s terrifying. Throughout time this has been depicted as a troll or demon that comes and sits on your chest and pins you down, but there are other versions as well. When I started exploring them, I realized I had to be Succubus. So much fun.
