Another blog-y post. If you’ve been watching my shorts you have probably noticed I sound like gravely shit, I am still sick. It just won’t go away. I made myself get back to work because I need to and shit but it’s about as enjoyable as eating rocks.
I tell ya, I’m getting awfully close to considering thinking about possibly seeing a doctor!
I went out today, I saw the sun shining and thought “ I should go for a walk, just for me” . So out I went like a lamb to the slaughter. I had been fooled! It wasn’t warm and sunny, it was cold and windy and the clouds sprung their ambush the moment I was far enough away from home to considered heading back early. The bitter, biting wind blew straight through me, poisoning me with horrid cold! I couldn’t get warm after that, I’m like a old lady now, snuggling into bed shivering against a hot water bottle in mid spring :(
In other news, I made a new friend! Her name is Carol and she’s very pretty but also very sad. I empathise with her quite a bit but, honestly, she does creep me out quite a lot. I invited her round and I don’t really know how to get her to leave, she mainly just stares at the ceiling in silence and I don’t want to leave her because that would be rude but also I’m a bit restless just sitting with her in silence. I also don’t have it in me to tell her she’s outstaying her welcome so I just have to wait until she decides to leave on her own… ahhhh
