Solo Edge (behind the scenes)
If you've been curious about my setup, here's some raw, BTS footage of me recording an edge video on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I didn't really have intentions here... I just wanted to play around and see what may look good on camera.

Cameras, Lighting, Sound and Rig
The setup is pretty basic... One window light on an overcast day to the left of me, c-stand with a Smallrig clamp attached to the arm holding a cell phone clamp, and another Smallrig clamp holding a Zoom H5 recorder with the shotgun mic attachment. The camera I'm using to record this angle is a Nikon Z6 with a 24-70m F/4 lens (the kit lens).

Storyline
I was horny as hell this day but needed to save my nut for an upcoming scene, so I decided to edge in my free time. Carefree and relaxed, I decided to allow my hands to explore my body, massaging myself in all the places that felt good. I was stiff as a board throughout... my balls ready to burst if I made two more strokes too many. I lasted about 25 minutes before I decided to call it quits... edging can be a dangerous game 😈

Constructive Criticism and Lessons
1. In my excitement, I forgot to use the Final Cut Camera app so I could manually adjust my camera settings and prevent the sudden changes in light you see in the cell phone insert. The Nikon is set manually and shows consistent light throughout the clip. Usually, I would make sure both cameras remble similar settings, or settings appropriate to the distance between the camera, source of light and the subject.

2. The Nikon battery died before the scene ended. Make sure the battery is charged if creating a longer scene.
