Did you know that August 29th is the birthday of the motorcycle. It was on this day many years ago, back in 1885, that German engineer Gottlieb Daimler patented a kerosene-powered riding cart. It is the one that is considered the prototype of the modern motorcycle. And it was this day that became the d:ate of the holiday.
