Heather had the inspiration to do a lingerie scene in the balcony window first thing in the morning while she takes in her cup of coffee, and the warm morning sun. The idea was to create a near-silhouette so you can really take in all the curves of Heather’s immaculate figure. this was the morning of our last day in Nevada city. At this point in the trip, we are completely in sync with each other, and content feels relaxed because we already know we’ve accomplished what we came here to do. This isn't the last bit of content though..
On the tech side, I shot this with the gold mist filter on my canon 85mm 1.8, a classic lens for the modern era. I didn’t have any opportunities to use it on this trip, and the wall opposite the balcony was a good 30 feet away, the perfect set up. 85 also compresses the image considerably more than the 50, which is a look a think feels right with these classier scenes. I didn’t hook up the BTS because the distance to Heather and the incredible amount of back light would have made the footage mostly unusable. So, take it from me, the view was nice.
