Fionna as Elvira, tell me this isnt the perfect match up?? I can't take credit tho, she hit me up asking if I'd take her halloween pics and of course I said heck yes. She told me the concept, Elvira, and literally that same night I watched the 1988 flick and holy fuck.. Fionna was made for this! We couldn't find a proper dagger so we were going to just do without UNTIL I saw her hand made fully rhinestone encrusted vape pen and knew we had found our star prop. It makes a flashy appearance in the next set, too..
Speaking of, did two looks as Elvira - first one in traditional garb and the second one, releasing tomorrow, in a two piece burlesque style outfit (its got some fucking rad shots in it too).
Shot this through my old scratched-up Lee soft filter #1 on the 50mm Chuck Berry Canon FD 1.4 in full manual on the Sony a7R IV, with what little backdrops and props remain at the studio, which is closing at the end of this month—making this the last shoot I do there! I'll talk about that later tho. I wanted to capture that stage-like look and theater curtains were the obvious answer. Hit her with a fresnel lens on the key light, snoot on the hair light and the splash of red on the left is from little Falconeyes F7 panels. Red was TOO hot tho, I've toned it down quite a bit in lightroom for this release. Fog machine poofs every once in a while and viola, a spooky stage. I had a lot of fun on this project hah.
