Okay, listen, I'll talk about Heather in a second.. So I had this crazy idea that I could create this water effect using a giant sheet of plastic, a lot of baby oil, and a $2000 video card.. and it friggin worked. I lit this using two gridded strip lights, one set to red for some color splash and warmth, and set to either side of the scene. The implementation isn't perfect across the board, but it was a fun technical experiment.
Okay so HEATHER is just the ultimate muse. She took this extraordinarily trashy and cringe looking scene (I mean, it was a wall of black plastic with the fold seams still in it) and gave us the performance of the year. Armed only with a string of beads (which broke halfway through the shoot), we were able to capture shots unlike anything we've done before.
Yes there is BTS for this, yes it is extraordinarily explicit for what Heather typically does. It took some discussion with her to allow it to release, and now it will go out tomorrow. It will be priced much higher than typical BTS tho!
