Dudes, I let this set with Charle Jay cook for a LONG time, and I apologize for that. You see, I had a vision of what I wanted when I first shot this, and I was already familiar with generative tools and *thought* the tech and my skill were where I needed them. Unfortunately, we weren't quite there yet. Fast forward literally 6 months - I've now got a wide variety of pure AI and hybrid generative projects under my belt, so I dust off last year's catalog, give it another shot and here we FUCKING GOOOOOO!
The wing prop is something I've used in the past, some of you may recognize it? But it was nowhere near as long as I needed for the look I wanted, so I did a fuck ton of generative layering to make it into a full blown angel's wing. I then put the entire project in stable diffusion and regenerated the flattened piece from Photoshop to create a very realistic wing effect. My favorite shots is the portrait with floating feathers and the one where she's got her arm back like she's flying and it's just this huge fucking wing. This was worth the wait for me, definitely my favorite shoot of 2024 that I actually shot in 2023 haha.
