Crazy that my last AI post was christmas?! I've not stopped fucking with it, I've just been focused on refining my process and using AI as a tool to help clean up actual photos that I've taken. But now I'm back to report on some *major* progress I've made, this time with Heather! She's always been tech focused and is right here with me in wanting to explore more ways to utilize AI to create content with pictures, voice and, in the near near future, video. Just envision being able to have your own personal AI Heatherbot haha ha.. h a 👀
LETS TALK TECH: Every image in this set is txt2img, meaning the only reference it has to Heather is the images from the dataset I painstakingly configured to train the AI model itself. No controlnets to tell it what her face curvature looks like, what poses to make, or what shape her boobs are. Just text to image. Oversimplified: I tell the AI "Heather in a pool of water in a cyberpunk-like atmosphere" and it prints it. Now, each image generates with flaws, most of them completely unrecoverable, but the few that are left I can correct using AI inpainting or Photoshop. See the last image in the gallery for a good laugh and a peek into what this step in the process looks like. It's an extremely extensive, multi-step, multi-platform, multi...media process that takes a fuck ton longer than doing an actual shoot and editing it, but there are limits to 'reality' that I want to push and that's how we got here.
I posted some of these on Twitter and neglected to mention that they were AI and the response was clear - The average person, most who KNOW what Heather looks like, think these are actual photos. So, we're here guys, the f u t u r e. And speaking of, her and I are planning another big photo trip together for sometime this month so spare your worries as the real pics aren't stopping anytime soon!
