When I take my dog to the groomer, itβs always an adventure πβπ¦Ί. Heβs small, but oh-so-determined when it comes to avoiding the dreaded bath and haircut π¦βοΈ. The moment we step inside, he seems to know what's coming, and his antics begin.
Despite his size, I often end up lending a hand to keep him still. One groomer holds the tools, another does the trimming, and there I am, trying to calm my little whirlwind πͺοΈ. He wriggles, he whines, and sometimes even tries to "escape" β all while giving me the most betrayed look π₯Ί.
Itβs not that heβs scared exactly, justβ¦ dramatic π
. Iβve learned to bring treats and his favorite toy to help him relax, though it only works for a few minutes. At some point, Iβm covered in soap and fur, and it feels like Iβm the one being groomed π§ΌπΎ.
Still, when itβs all over, he struts out as if heβs the star of the show, looking fluffier and prouder than ever β¨. Itβs a lot of effort, but seeing him so clean and happy makes it all worth it.
