It's under the bed 😱
Many of us were afraid in childhood of creepy creatures that lurked under the bed at night, waiting for us to hang our leg or arm out to grab us 👹 Often they even got nasty and didn't let us stick our heads out from under the blanket! And sometimes we even had to turn on a cozy night light to drive the monsters back into the darkness from which they came 🌕
I was actually lucky in this regard, and no monster could fit under my bed, except maybe a carpet monster or a copybook monster 😅 But my peers had it tough, sometimes they held the line all night, and plush toys became their faithful defenders, ready to fight the under-bed evil 🐻
