Standing here, baring myself in this moment, feels both vulnerable and freeing. I’m finally taking steps to find a doctor who can help me feel truly at home in my body again. I'm going to take a quick second to be a little vulnerable. This picture is from 2018. I was scrolling today remembered the anxiety I had taking this picture. I used to be so self conscious of my labia (and vagina all around) so when my boyfriend at the time begged for a picture I tried to hide my labia. He obviously knew very well what they looked like, but I still couldn't bare to see them on a screen myself (even though I love attention and sharing). Even when I started this journey a year ago I had scheduled a labiaplasty and didn't love my lips the way I wanted to. You guys turned my biggest insecurity into the thing I love most about myself. 🥹 Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I love you. (totally not crying) 💗💗💗 Lulu
