after not doing yoga since May, I finally started up again today! I had so much fun at my friends' wedding last night 🥹🥹 THEY WERE SO CUTE I didn't expect to be invited because I only met them since moving to New Orleans and they had been planning their wedding and sent out invites before they ever met me, but someone on their guest list got sick so I got that sweet last minute invite! they're both such sweet people and so perfect for each other, I was so honored to get to be part of their special day despite only known them for a few months I was tearing up during the ceremony as soon as I saw Brett's (groom) face when he saw Alex (bride) walk down the aisle 🥹🥹🥹🥹 when he started crying I couldn't help but cry too then at dinner everyone had such funny and sweet stories to tell about them in their speeches, I loved hearing all these old stories I didn't know about both of them, I almost cried again haha it was just a super fun night full of love, their connection was so heartwarming to witness I don't have any pics from the wedding (yet, I took some in the photobooth so those will get posted at some point) but here's a pic of the dress I wore and a pic of me and Cody at the karaoke after party!

just hopped out of the shower and put this cute new pajama set on 💛 I'll have to start getting ready soon for the wedding I'm going to today, but for now I'm just relaxing and feelin all soft, cozy & clean 🥰

had such a good time seeing All Time Low with friends last night, SO MUCH FUN 💛💛 my absolute fav part was seeing Cody sing the words to every song, she was such a big fan of them in middle school and I was a fan by proxy so I only knew about half the songs they played but I was fully jammin out to all of them anyways whether I knew them or not I went absolutely bananners when they played Weightless, I fuckin LOVE that song

I'm excited because I'm doing a special joint stream with friends today playing some old ass VHS board games I remember DVD board games like Scene It from my childhood (loved those), but these games we're playing today were before my time lmao I'm excited to spend time with friends and play some board games, especially because I've had another stressful day on the phone with Geico agents (like most days lately) trying to figure out why they haven't set up a tow for my car yet (it was wrecked on Sep 2!) I may have made progress though!! they told me they set up a tow for me to an autoshop on Tuesday! they've told me they set up tows before, then when the day came nothing happened, but this time is different because this time I got a ~CONFIRMATION EMAIL~ after the call!! HUGE if true! I'm feeling hopeful about it! also my friend who's getting married soon wants to have her bachelorette party here in New Orleans and I'm super excited about it! schemin with my fellow bridesmaids now on stuff to do 👀

Nick flew home this morning 😢 it was such a fun trip! we did lots of partying on Bourbon St, went to the aquarium, did an escape room, played lots of board games, sang karaoke twice and just had a really great time with friends I'm back to streaming today so I'll hopefully see you all in a couple hours over on Twitch! anyways look at THIS WONDERFUL GREEN ONION PLANT 🥺💛 a gift from Spiegel and Erin when I met them yesterday for escape room and board game shennanigans they know how much I love green onion (it's a must on my grocery list every time I grocery shop) and they told me I can grow my own and it's really easy to keep alive (or so they say, we shall see about that) I thought it was such a sweet and thoughtful gift and I can't wait to eat my own freshly grown green onion with my rice!

dude I'm so sad, I spent so long typing out a retelling of my trip so far including a very detailed (and I thought funny) story of our escape room experience, but I didn't know Fansly had a character limit so once I posted it only the first like 1/4 of my post went through and the rest is lost 😭😭😭😭😭 I might retype it later but I'm bummed

look at this amazingly cute Hollow Knight cookie that my friend Erin made!! (you may know her as Spiegel's wife, that masterful baker and cookie decorator) she brought us a bunch of these, 2 for each of us, yesterday when we met in person for the first time and they were so incredible!! they were each hand decorated to look like geometric shattered fragments with different reflections of the little Hollow Knight guy (and they tasted amazing too) also, I have definitely not been taking enough pictures but now's a good time to catch you all up on my weekend/Nick's trip here if you wanna hear about it! so my friend Nick got in Friday evening while Cody was at work (so sadly she couldn't join us for this part) and we spent the night out and about with Heather enjoying the night life of Bourbon Street (a street here known for being wild and partying, lots of clubs and bars and people) we started the night by getting really delicious burgers and loaded baked potatoes at a restaurant Heather knew called Port of Call (I kept accidentally calling it Call of Port but same thing), and when our Uber driver dropped us off he was so jealous we were going there and said he was tempted to turn off his app for the night so he could join us and get one of their loaded baked potatoes and put bbq sauce all over it (after I had eaten most of my potato I covered the rest with bbq sauce for the last couple bites just to try it and uh I'm glad I only did it for the last two bites..) afterwards we went out and wandered Bourbon Street, drinking, people watching and just enjoying the vibes we went to a karaoke place. I've only ever done private room karaoke, never on a stage in front of a crowd so I was a scared tbh, but I had another drink and said I'd only go up and sing if either Heather or Nick did a song too. Heather agreed and we both braved the stage back to back! Heather sang Bad Romance and absolutely fucking killed it complete with perfect French for the French part, and I sang I Write Sins Not Tragedies VERY badly but still got
