I am Malenia, Mikella's blade 🍂 Hello! Today I’ll tell you a little about my new cosplay project, which took place not so long ago. As you can see, I'm a huge anime fan and this piece is a little out of my usual style, but I'm really, really glad I was able to pull it off! The photography was difficult, divided into two photo studios. Because of the large amount of materials, the photographer and I decided to divide the photoset into two huge packs, so there will be a lot of photos and they will be varied! 🌿 Since I had two locations as planned, I also divided them into two parts: the first was an area similar to a clearing-swamp, referring specifically to the boss battle scene (after all, it was a street area), and the second was inside a building . The one inside the building is my full-fledged choice to deviate a little from the canon and make the character more... Human, or what? 🥀 I would like to show it from a more aesthetic side. Therefore, I hope that the fans of the game will forgive me for such permissiveness and a little headcanon 🥺💞 Also, not only the photographer and I participated in this labor-intensive project, but also an assistant and a make-up artist! This was my first time working with a make-up artist and the experience turned out to be very interesting and fruitful. My very first full body makeup!!😱 The process for one of my moooost complex and also money-intensive cosplay projects was interesting, but very long~ Initially, the make-up artist measured my body in advance and prepared silicone attachments for my body ✨ On the day of the photoshoot, I had to get up veeery early and we started. It took a whole 4 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 (!!!) for the make-up artist to make just a “base” for the makeup on me - smearing, gluing, distributing the “second skin” so that it would look like the skin effect of Malenia from Elden Ring 😌✨ Before the photoshoot she continued to apply paint, makeup and everything else to me. I can tell you it was... hot 🥵🔥🔥 Hahah but of course not in such a way you thought 😏 It was increedibly hot especially when the temperature outside is +27-30 degrees Celsius, there is no air conditioning, direct sunlight fell on me from the windows, and I was completely covered in heavy makeup 🫠🙌 But I can say that it was an interesting experience, although very difficult! I finally did it! I’ve been planning this photoset for so long. And yes — this is the costume you gifted me a year ago… I’m so incredibly grateful for the chance to try on this character. I did my best to bring it to life with this setting — and with myself. You help me so much and truly make my life better! Also — look at the plant!! The big one on the right, that’s the one! The one I wrote about yesterday. My new plant-friend really helped bring this photoset together. I hope it likes its new home here 🌿 To be honest, I almost had a little accident trying to strike an unusual pose. I sat kind of weirdly on the ottoman and leaned back to get the shot… and suddenly started falling fast. My arms saved my head and back from hitting the floor, but I landed on my back side, and my hands ended up in a strange, awkward position trying to hold my body up. While I was mid-fall, I remember thinking how scared I was about what I’d feel next. The muscles started hurting sharply and they still do — but other than that, I’m okay. Something similar happened before when I slipped in the shower, so the feeling is familiar — I just need rest and some protein

You didn't ask, but I brought it! 😏 Some behind-the-scenes footage from filming. Usually you, as viewers, see the finished picture, and I think it will be interesting for you to see how it looks from the outside! 🤫 For example, already at the photo shoot I realized that I had made a mistake with the shoe size (hello, Aliexpress), and ordered 38, somewhere around 37. You can stand, of course, but it hurts your fingers very much 😥 That’s why when the photographer took the “portrait” angle or in a dress , I slipped out of my shoes and enjoyed the freedom, hahaha. The rest of the time - at full height, videos and other mobile backstages I climbed back into them. To say that my fingers hurt would be an understatement. But I'm glad that the result is very clear and sunny (just like the character I cosplayed! 😏💖) Well, you were probably interested in looking at this little detail of the process.
