I have to be honest. Thanksgiving and a lot of other holidays are complicated for me. Sometimes holidays bring a lot of pain, they dredge up old hurts, and they leaving you feeling raw and vulnerable. (Not to mention, Thanksgiving itself can be a reminder of my country’s brutal and tragic history.) If today is a day of love and laughter for you, I hope you get to squeeze every little joy out of it. Love and light is something we all deserve whenever we can get it. However, if today feels lonely and heartbreaking and complicated, know that you ARE NOT alone. We will find our joy in a different way. And, if need be, we’ll find joy another day. Today, my little hit of joy is sharing some silly nudes with people who make me smile and make me feel seen. 💕 P.s. Like a lot of you, I’ll be a little caught up the next couple days.
