And not just one account, but both my main and backup accounts😡 It didn’t hit me as hard as the first time — at least now I know what to do — but it’s still incredibly upsetting😭😢 I even wrote a short thread on X, sharing some thoughts about protecting our digital identity🐰 This power imbalance — where a person is essentially denied the right to a fair review and can only try to defend themselves after an automated corporate system makes such a serious decision as deleting someone’s page — is fundamentally wrong. U often tell me how your own Instagram pages were taken down “without the right to appeal,” and u ended up losing them forever. In my opinion, that policy is completely unacceptable💔 I really hope that someday antitrust regulators will finally step in and do something about Meta and other corporations — so we can have real transparency on these issues, especially when it comes to how their algorithms operate❤️‍🩹 As for me, I’ll try once again to recover my pages. Fingers crossed. Although honestly, it’s getting harder and harder to deal with such intense negative emotions out of nowhere. This kind of unpredictability affecting one of the main platforms I work on is really draining!🥲 But alright, I won’t lose hope!!
