Since I’m on a proper vacation, yesterday I decided to spend a week in another amazing hotel!😍🥰 I think the photos from here are going to turn out even cooler!🐰🌸 Plus, they have a private beach that’s only accessible to hotel guests. And the grounds are super lush — there are even bushes shaped like elephants, haha!😎 The breakfast here is fabulous too! I’m loving the vegan Banh Mi, and the local chef makes crêpes for me using dairy-free batter. Sometimes I treat myself to mango or raspberry sorbet for breakfast as well!😎💕 I visited the Coconut Prison! It’s a museum not far from the hotel — we rode bikes there with a guide!🚴‍♀️ The prison was built in 1949 by French colonialists and was later used during the Vietnam War to detain captured Viet Cong and Northern soldiers. The conditions were absolutely horrific, and the museum features a lot of torture scenes…🤯 The museum itself is basically several original prison blocks — a pretty intense and eye-opening experience😢 When you’re vacationing in the tropics, places like this aren’t the first thing that come to mind. Definitely don’t want to end up in a tropical prison, haha!😁 After the prison, we stopped by a fish sauce factory! I didn’t try any, but the preparation process was fascinating! From what I gathered, it was mainly a show wing — a way to get tourists to buy some fish sauce to take home, haha!😅 PS: Today’s set is wonderful! U know, this is probably the first time during such a long vacation that I haven’t gotten tired of being in an unfamiliar environment — on the contrary, I feel incredibly comfortable and at peace!🥰💕 The staff at the new hotel are so sweet! When I asked if there was any way to muffle the connecting doors so I wouldn’t hear what’s going on in the neighboring room, they gave me a private villa with a pool for the rest of my stay!🤯😭💖 It was such a lovely surprise — I wasn’t expecting that at all!🐰 The villa is absolutely massive! I’ll only be spending a couple of days here, but it’s such a fun experience!🌸 I also visited the Japanese restaurant on the hotel grounds, and they had a full vegan tasting course on the menu! Every dish was incredible, though the waitress’s English was a little hard to follow, so I missed a few details when she was describing each course💕 My favorites were the King Trumpet Mushroom and the Roasted Aubergine!🥰 Everything was so refined! No one here is ever surprised when I ask about vegan options, and that still makes me genuinely happy every time!🦄 PS: Today’s photoshoot is absolutely fire! I officially declare this vacation perfect! Haha!🥰💖 With each passing day, I feel more at peace and completely relaxed!💕 I even took a little ride on a scooter near the hotel — such a fun experience! Haha!😁 Sometimes the wind carries a bit of trash into the sea, but the beach is actively cleaned by quite a lot of people, especially in the hotel area, so it doesn’t become too much of an issue🌸 That said, from what I can see, pollution is becoming a growing problem at almost all resorts in Southeast Asia. In the evenings, I see hundreds of fishing boats with bright green lights. The fishing continues all night, and unfortunately, the fishermen just throw their waste straight into the water😭 Vietnam is slowly starting to address the issue. In major cities, they’ve already introduced hefty fines, and the improvements are noticeable🐰 I imagine it will be much harder to regulate cleanliness among fishermen, but I really hope that one day, people will start realizing on their own that dumping trash into the sea and leaving it on the beach is neither cool nor pleasant. Haha!😁 Raising awareness and launching social campaigns also play a huge role in tackling this problem!🌴 I visited the local night market — an interesting place, but I didn’t dare to try the food there, haha! Overall, there are about five or six types of vendors, and they just repeat and alternate throughout the entire market🥰 And today, I went for a bike ride along the shore! Sunshine and scorching heat!🌸🥰 And the hotel matches the perfect weather — everything in its place, stylish, elegant, and peaceful!😍🌴 U know, I realized how much I love returning to places I visited just two or three weeks ago during vacation!🦄 That time gap is just right — u get to see the place with fresh eyes on your second visit, while the memory of the first impression is still vivid!🥰🐰 Yesterday, I visited one of the longest cable cars in the world!😮 It stretches nearly eight thousand meters!🤯🩷 It passes over several islands, right above the sea!💓 Absolutely breathtaking!!😍 At the end of the ride, there’s a huge water park! I even went for a swim, though I was too scared to try the slides, haha!😁 The new hotel has Netflix on the TV, so I started watching an awesome reality show — Million Dollar Secret!
