I spent the whole weekend watching a new serious animated series! It's called 'Carol and the End of the World'🤯 The plot involves a huge super-asteroid approaching our planet (or something like that) and humanity knows exactly when the world will be destroyed!😮 Everyone starts living the way they always dreamed. But Carol, the main character, can't figure out what she wants. More precisely, she was satisfied with her life as it was and doesn't understand why to change anything and how!😭 It's a very interesting cartoon! I recommend you watch it!🩷 In the last couple of months, I've observed an exponential growth in the use of generated images in advertising and various trashy content! It's quite sad! In two years of active 'development' of AI, I haven't noticed any significant improvements in the capabilities of these technologies. The most important thing – details, and details will always remain the most important (for me)! And as for the details – the results are terribly disappointing!🥲 Therefore, for example, as an author, I am not yet scared by these technologies. The creators of these 'models' are currently only competing with each other, trying to occupy their small market segment🐰 The main thing is that they don't use other people's images, fortunately, this is easy to detect and stop! There have already been many precedents and in all these cases the copyright law works flawlessly😎 As for simplifying the workflow, here I admire AI!🌸 For example, it became much easier for me to work with light in photographs!🥳 Many additional tools have appeared in Adobe software and this is cool!😍 PS: Sent a reminder about this set!😘 PPS: Likes! Every minute, a certain amount of money is added to each participant’s account; the higher the floor, the higher the amount!💕 The participants must entertain the viewers to extend the game time, allowing all players to earn more money!🤯 I won't reveal all the details (to avoid spoilers), but I will say that the entire game is an allegory for the capitalist leviathan that is consuming us right now!😭🌸 I haven’t been this deeply affected by such revealing works in a long time, but the creators here managed to convey all the absurd brutality of the reality that surrounded us after the 2008 crisis with remarkable precision!🥲 The second work is a documentary by Lauren Greenfield called Generation Wealth. The film itself is good, but it feels somewhat rushed! It’s as if the director couldn’t fit all her ideas about the problems of modern capitalism into such a short runtime!🦄 But together, these two works make a strong impression!💔 I recommend watching the series first, followed by the documentary! So I watched Pinnochio!💕 Guillermo del Toro came up with the idea to make this stop-motion 15 years ago! Everything is made by hand, it's just incredible! 🐰 And how great he told this story, how subtly he changed it, how much he breathed into it! This work will forever be in my heart! Take a look if u haven't already!🥰 There is also a wonderful documentary on Netflix about how this work was created! And to complement the stop-motion theme! Very interesting collection of cartoons The House! Also on Netflix!💜 And I almost passed The Last of Us Two! Left just a little bit! I'm at the moment when u stop understanding who to empathize with more! I watched Wes Anderson's new movie — The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar!💕 Great work, I think it's the first time I've encountered such a way of storytelling in cinema!🌸 While watching the movie, it felt like I was reading a book!😮 Wes tried to recreate the reader's imagination while reading! It turned out quite interesting, I watched it in one go! And by the way, the film is quite short, just over forty minutes!🥰 I saw Elon Musk's tweets about the immigration crisis on the Mexican border. Is that true?😮 I think I missed everything, what triggered this new large wave of migration to the USA? Or is it a clever build-up before the elections?🤯 I no longer know who to believe! Ha-ha!😅 I only recently found out that the world's population growth rates are slowing down! I remember being scared of overpopulation, but now scientists predict that the counter will stop at the end of this century at ten and a half billion people!😭 And after that, the population will presumably start to decrease! Although I think by that time they will have invented a way to prolong life and it won't be a big problem...😅 I often think that the fatalism inherent in our time is due solely to the incredibly high value and significance of human life💕 So it seems to us that the upheavals of our century are insurmountable because we are unable to cope with them in the short span of time allotted to us by fate😔 But I think we will manage to maintain continuity, and after us, people will continue to strive to make this world better!
