Apology + Explanation Continued I'll try to adjust my schedule promises when it looks like the chapter will be more complicated or when I feel I'm falling behind, and I'll try and be less vague. When I said "I'll try and get it out Tuesday but will probably be Wednesday" I was being extremely optimistic. Realistically, there was no chance it was coming out Tuesday and I should've made that clear. I'll try and be better about this kind of thing in the future, but I will continue to make schedules that are probably late by a day or two. I schedule optimistically so I feel the pressure and enter "crunch" earlier. It's not exactly a "healthy" way to work, but I wouldn't really put in an 18-hour workday like yesterday unless I felt I was insanely behind, which I was. I'm always putting in huge amounts of hours to try and get these out on time, and I may fall short, but I'll try not to make impossible promises anymore.

Cooked Schedule Update + Delays Part 2: Apology + Nonapology

But now that it's the end of the 20th and I'm reviewing what I've done, I'm doubtful I'll be able to release cooked in full on the 21st. I'm thinking that I'll work through the day and try and have 20 pages ready to go by 5pm PST with the rest going up late Wednesday.

I know it's frustrating that the schedule keeps being changed, but I want you all to know that it's not from a lack of trying. I normally go at a rate of one chapter per week because it's tougher for me to go any faster. So far this month we were still on pace for a release every 7 days, and only now with CC's full release being pushed back to the 22nd is there really a "content delay." My issue is that I shouldn't have promised the 17th or 20th in the first place so I could account for delays and problems on my end- that's my bad and I apologize.

But the schedule overpromising is the only thing I'm apologizing for this month. I have been working my ass off this month even through getting sick off of LA air quality, and I've posted both a larger monthly release and a larger weekly release in the span of 14 days. I treat this like my full-time job and have been putting in waaay more than 40 hours each week over here, constantly pulling all-nighters, and I hate these insinuations that I'm being lazy or faking an illness to get out of work. Everyone has a demanding job, I'm not trying to farm sympathy here and I'm sure many of you work way harder than I do; but I'm trying my best and grinding to get you content so I'd appreciate it if you at least waited until the end of the month to evaluate the volume of chapters/releases. So far, I think this month has been fine enough personally.

PFK 7 slight delay/extension.

EDIT: Expect it within 12 hours (Before 8am pst)

Bumping it up to 39-40 pages so it ends at the point I want it to. Probably won't be out until late Tuesday, but it'll be worth the wait I'm sure. (Lots of debauchery around school this chapter.)

Sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience...

Also, please let me know in the comments about how you feel about delays like these. I know the delay sucks of course, but I feel like I usually make up for it with a high page count. (In this particular instance a bathroom scene was extended by several pages.) The story will probably be delayed by a day sure, but that one day gets you 9-10 more pages.

If you want though, I can caption the 30 pages I already have and have it out on Monday. I can treat the weekly deadline as something that's more "sacred" and simply caption what I have before the deadline so I always have something to post each week. Maybe my tendency to always end the chapter at a solid cliffhanger or scene ending isn't something that needs to happen every time when it's forcing me to extend to 40ish pages. Sometimes stopping the chapter in the middle doesn't change all that much, and when binge reading seeing a cliffhanger every 30-40 pages might get tedious. 30 pages is already pretty big too even compared to all the Koikatsu tg story makers on Patreon/Fansly. (Yes I know AI images are often easier to generate than Koikatsu scenes, but AI group shots take much longer than Koikatsu ones trust me.)

I feel like I've already made a post about this, but that's just an indication of how much missing deadlines bothers me too. I hate the idea of making someone feel like I've lied to them or ripped them off, and I hope I've generated enough trust to where you all know I'm not just over here goofing off all week. I'll probably be generating/editing/captioning for 12 hours on Monday. I'm really not trying to generate sympathy or puff up some non-apology here; I just really want to hear your guy's thoughts/feelings and poss
