I don't have a driver's license and a car. Every time I need to get somewhere, I take a taxi or a bus. I live in a remote area, and taxis don't always come to us, so I use public transport so as not to risk arriving on time. I'm not going to study for a driver's license because I'm afraid! In my life, I am very clumsy and inattentive, I often hit my toe on a table leg, return home several times for a forgotten phone/ wallet, constantly lose my keys, and then find them in the most visible place... it seems to me that such absent-minded people like me should not drive a car! But public transport gives me so much discomfort that I'm still thinking about getting a driver's license... I do not know what to do and how to make a decision 😱

You often ask me when I am going to drive, because I recently got my license. This is another task that I am trying to solve urgently, because where I am going to live soon there is almost no public transportation. Continuation of the previous post: Unfortunately, this guy couldn't control himself, continued his obscene conversation and after a few minutes began to trying to touch me. I had to get out before reaching home, call a taxi and wait another 20 minutes for the car on a cold street. Why couldn't this guy just wait? After all, I wanted to show him where his stop was! I was very annoyed! I am very angry at this behavior of people! But I was more angry with myself... for many years I have not been able to study for a driver's license. It's like I'm deliberately postponing this activity, and I still don't have this goal. Firstly, having a license does not give me a guarantee that I will be able to buy a car, because it is quite expensive. Secondly, I am afraid of extreme situations on the road and I am not sure that I will be able to make the right decision quickly in case of an emergency. Thirdly, I worry that the car will require a lot of investment of effort, time and money – because it needs to be washed, repaired and maintained. But situations like this still make me think that it's time to go study for a driver's license and no longer ride the bus with such boors!
