One thing about me is if I am home I got a treat pouch strapped to me lol
Fun fact that I believe I mentioned here before. I used to work with dogs before quarantine, but then I got laid off once quarantine really got going. I helped mostly with the boarding animals. The kennel I worked at was force free. So tons of food used as lures, patience, emphasis on training. The kennel also took in a lot of dogs that had behavior challenges. Dogs that would be kicked out of other kennels. They were either dog aggressive, people aggressive, resource guarding, reactivity. I had to take training classes every 2 weeks about safety, dog language, muzzle work, breed history, first aid, etc. I honestly have never been more scared than when I was handling some massive, unpredictable dogs. It was a cool job tho. I do miss it at times.
I was super inspired to become a dog trainer. Then my dog became reactive after I moved. Helping other dogs who are reactive was completely different than owning a reactive dog. Kinda burnt me out from it all. Its actually a huge part of my life. I currently take classes, see a trainer weekly, work with my dog every day. My dog has come a long way, but we got a long way to go as well. I want to get him a car crate to make traveling easier. I plan on finally being able to take him car camping this spring/summer after I get some gear. If I can find some isolated spots we will be good to go 👍
Just thought I would share something a bit personal today. And of course boobs.
