Just beat Resident Evil 2 Remake. I have never played RE game before (except the very first RE on my friend's PS1 when I was a child, but I was eaten by the first dog encounter, so it doesn't count, lol). Beat the game with Leon. And tou know what – I liked it pretty much! Really love the puzzles+gameplay combination. The only game companies that did such combo is Valve with their Half-Life series and Frictional Games with their Penumbra and Amnesia series. It's a shame that a lot of AAA companies keep forgeting about gameplay in their games and tries to feed us with "nextgen graphics" (look at Starfield, nextgen my ass). Anyway, now I plan to beat all RE games in order. Already in the process of beating RE1 (just found the broken shotgun), then RE3 remake and RE4 remake. And then I need my hands on Dark Souls... Speaking of which, here's my Soul of Cinder fanart. It took me 4 months to draw it, from start to finish. Very proud of myself, hope you will like it as much. Just beat Resident Evil 2 Remake. The next game I wanna beat is Resident Evil 3 Remake. Funny thing – I invested myself into RE franchise after RE4 remake was released. This particular part got me excited, for some reason. I have finally beat the original Resident Evil, the very first one. I'm gonna say I didn't expect it to be so long. It feels like it 2x longer than RE2R. Oh, and also I beat the game using Chris without knowing that he have 2 inventory slots less, lol. So it was much harder than using Jill. The final boss was too easy, unfortunately. I have finally beat the original Resident Evil, the very first one. I'm gonna say I didn't expect it to be so long. It feels like it 2x longer than RE2R. I finally played Resident Evil 3 Remake. I played only a couple of hours but I already can tell the difference in direction between RE2R and RE3R. The game feels cutted. The reviews told me that this remake is like 30% of the original game and it feels. Tha pacing is so random. The first 10 minutes are slow and atmospheric, then the game decides that it's a Michiel Bay movie all of the sudden. But it is still very enjoyable. Also I have noticed that there's almost no puzzles. Which feels... odd. And we can thank this game for the beautiful Jill Valentine redesign. I love her. I love playing as her much more than playing as Claire Redfield. I think I will beat this game pretty soon (reviewers told me that it can be finished in 5 hours, lol). After watching this rushed direction, after watching comparisons with the originals, screwed up Nemesis, tons of cutscenes, QTE (I hate QTE), no Campaign B – this is just wrong. I beat RE2 in 32 hours with all campaigns and variations. I beat RE3 in 6 hours. And what was the point of the last episode in NEST-2 (which wasn't in the original) if the vaccine was broken anyway?
