Sometimes on Reddit I post a pic on my profile along with a text post where I’m kind of just mindlessly rambling about what I’ve been up to and how I’ve been feeling lately. Wondering if I should cross post some of those texts here?

I feel so much better today! I’m seriously questioning if my menstrual cycle is fucking with me! I end my period and it’s like BAM! Now you get joy out of the little things like a cup of tea, the sound of birds, a nice walk, a new video game (my TikTok feed has been taken over by “I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream” so I read the short story and now I’m playing through the game. The short story was very good!!! Highly recommend. The PDF is easy to find), etc.
I was *kind of* getting a vague approximation of happiness for small little glimmers of time but I was really having to breathe through the constant chatter of anxiety. Either anxiety or depressed doom spiraling. 🌀
Anyways. I’m rereading Game of Thrones. It’s great. Obviously. I was marveling over the prologue yesterday. George is so fucking good at pacing. At balancing internal states, external action, description, dialogue. That man is a poet. I totally understand why he might die before we get the last books. His standards are so ridiculously high! And that’s why I love him.
Sooo :) yeah :) I will almost certainly feel awful again at some point next month but I’m going to enjoy my brief respite of enjoying life ✨🩷
