Ever since I was a child, I have always looked forward to summer with particular trepidation. This year was no exception. As spring gives way to summer, the air is filled with anticipation and my heart sinks in anticipation of warm days and sleepless nights 😍😍 Every morning I wake up to the birds singing outside my window and the sunlight streaming through the curtains. I open the window and breathe in the fresh morning air, feeling the spring chill gradually replace the summer heat. This moment always reminds me that summer is just around the corner. For me, summer is a time of adventure and new discoveries. I look forward to packing my rucksack and taking a trip to the seaside. My friends and I are already making plans to ride our bikes along the promenade, sunbathe on the beach and try new cocktails in cosy cafes. I imagine taking pictures of the sunsets to preserve these moments forever. Each day brings me closer to this long-awaited moment. I look forward to putting on a light dress, walking barefoot on the grass and feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin. Summer is the time when dreams come true, when life is filled with bright colours and new experiences. And I am ready to welcome it with open arms and a smile on my face.
