I have the most patient cat in the world, and I don’t say that lightly. Every time I scoop him up for a cuddle or a squeeze, he just sighs (yes, cats can sigh) and gives me the most dramatic “Why me?” look 😿. But he doesn’t run away!
Sometimes I can’t resist smooshing his face gently or kissing his soft little head 🐾. He doesn’t scratch or hiss—he just freezes in place like a statue, as if enduring the greatest hardship. Occasionally, he’ll let out the tiniest, most pitiful meow, as if to remind me of his suffering 🥺.
And then, when I finally let him go, he’ll sit down a few feet away, lick his fur in a very exaggerated way, and glare at me. “How dare you mess with my dignity!” his eyes seem to say 😾.
Yet, every evening, he still curls up next to me on the couch, purring like a motor 🛋️🐱. It’s like he’s saying, “Okay, human, I forgive you… for now.” Honestly, I think he secretly likes the attention, even if he pretends to be oh-so-annoyed!
