Well it has been a difficult week for most of us, I think. Living through historical events is never easy. Personally, I've been sent death threats and had my full name posted on doxxing sites over the past few days. I'm having a hard time. No, I never celebrated the assassination of the polarizing figure who lost his life. That's not why I was doxxed. The reason I was doxxed is actually a mystery to me, and perhaps a misunderstanding. I'm honestly not sure, because I'm not sure the identity of the person who posted my information. However, it has certainly taken a toll on me this week. I try really hard not to bring politics onto this page. And I won't change that now. You are welcome here, regardless of your beliefs. Regardless of your political persuasion, or lack thereof, I think this has been a difficult time for us all. The world is changing, ever so quickly. Technology is advancing, and while progress can be positive, it comes with it's challenges. Every single day, every hour, sometimes every minute, there is a new story. Something else to learn. It can be overwhelming. So I encourage all of you, right now, to relax your jaw. Take a long deep breath. Turn off your screens. Take some time to take care of yourself, without the screen. Nap, take a walk, read a book, clean your bedroom, have a shower, make a cake, change the oil in your car, go out for lunch with a friend, whatever helps you connect. Disconnect from the internet for a few minutes, and reconnect with yourself. It's important, in those times of chaos, to find some time for certainty. Regardless of your affiliations, beliefs, faiths, etc. I'm happy you are here. Because of the effect these threats have had on my mental health, I have not had the headspace to be able to reply to your DMS. Instead, I have been tightening up my security settings on all of my platforms and focusing on how to move forward. I will be back here tomorrow to answer your messages. You are important to me and I apologize for the delay. Love, Megan
